Produced by Maggi Tyler at Harkaway Irish Draughts, Roma Blue Hawk, RID foaled a spectacular stallion son by Tony Philip’s Snowford Bellman, RID. As a three year old, Hawk was presented for the 2004 stallion inspections. The inspectors called Hawk “Outstanding!” The judges also commented how he closely resembled the great Blue Peter, RID, Blue’s Grandsire. Hawk went on that day to win 1st place purebred 3 year olds, Supreme Champion Youngstock (Cotter Cup), Best American Bred Horse and Champion Purebred In Hand (Snowford Challenge Plate), and Best Get of Sire, plus Reserve Supreme Champion at the 2004 National Show! Hawk is currently owned by Tony Philips at Red Ridge Farm where he will continue his performance training and stand at stud aside his 2 half brothers! Our stallion, BenMar’s Bridon Belfrey, RID is also a half brother to Harkaway Lionhawk, RID.
